What is ECAD



Educated Canines Assisting with Disabilities is a Service Dog training organization that trains highly skilled Service Dogs to increase mobility and independence for people living with disabilities. We have programs that are designed to meet needs of different types of populations. The types of programs are called:
ECAD's main program where Assistance Dogs that are educated to prepare them for a career as a Service or Facility Dog.
Educated Service Dogs that are trained to assist children with autism. Some children are as young as two years old. These Service Dogs are used to build emotional bonding, cognitive development, socialization, and safety.
a program that is designed to meet the needs of veterans living with physical injuries, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), and/or Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI).
